# The Phantelope Project Tabs Tabs, chords, lyric sheets, etc. for any songs I make or perform on, whether under the name of Cherry C. or otherwise. ## Format Tabs will be listed as `.tab.txt` files. They only contain the important parts played on lead guitar and stuff. For lyrics, chords, and rhythm guitar strumming pattern, check the relevant `.chords.txt` file. Occasionally, I'm too lazy to write out the actual chords for whatever reason (too obvious, or they don't exist, or blah blah blah) so in those cases, there will probably be a `.lyrics.txt` file instead which contains just the lyrics with no chord lines. ## Warnings Unless otherwise specified, assume the tuning is E Standard. (EADGBE) LP4 and onward will usually be D Standard instead, but this will be explicitly mentioned in the tab. If it sounds wrong, I may have just forgotten, so go complain to me or something. You can expect decent quality and depth of info about tone and all that since I keep these for my future self, but there may be non-standard symbols and stuff since I'm not writing for a tab site or anything. Also, the lyrics are not written the same way you see on most lyric sites or streaming platforms. Those services require a more user-friendly representation, but the ones here are more raw and include "performance" information; certain lyrics will have weird line spacing, and some words are put in parentheses or split up to emphasize the way they should be sung. Again, that's just because I use these myself. Stuff that's already saved as midi info in my project files won't be put here, just cuz opening the project is usually faster for me to check. But if you need such notes, synth recipes, etc then feel free to ask. I might share it, or I might not, depending on the song. Timestamps are meaningless; this collection is saved as a git repo, and cloned to a remote server where it is hosted and you are reading it from. Git does not keep track of timestamps properly on its own. I've cloned the repo across multiple devices by now, so the real timestamp info has def been lost by now. ## License These sheets are all licensed under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0. tl;dr you can do whatever as long as it's not commercial, but you have to credit me and use the same license for any derivative works. i encourage any other musicians to do the same. make it easier for newbies to pick up a mic/guitar and have fun with your art. if you don't make em yourself, at least don't go after kind internet fans who do it for you for free. don't be a copyright prick.
